On Sunday, March 10, 2024, wide receiver Matt Landers was waived by the Arlington Renegades and immediately picked up by the San Antonio Brahmas.

Landers originally signed with the Renegades on January 23, 2024, and spent time in their training camp.

Matt Landers, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, previously played college football at Georgia, Toledo, and Arkansas, posting 1,547 receiving yards off 79 receptions with 14 scores.

After going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent.

The Seahawks waived Landers on August 29, 2023, and temporarily re-signed him to their practice squad. Later, he was signed by the Carolina Panthers, where he remained on their practice squad until being released on December 5., 2023.

The Brahmas hope Landers will add speed to their receiving corps, as he posted the third-fastest 40-yard dash for a receiver at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine.
