On Monday, in response to a tweet by Bleacher Report recognizing the path Houston Roughnecks quarterback PJ Walker took to get from the XFL to the NFL, XFL co-owner Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson pointed out how he, fellow co-owner Dany Garcia, and the executive team, want to build the XFL for the players and the fans.
“This is the fundamental core reason I wanted to acquire the XFL,” The Rock tweeted. “Create the opportunity for players to live their dreams and take care of their families. Dany Garcia, myself and our exec team are hungry to build this league out for the players and fans.”

It was only two weeks ago that Dany Garcia responded to a tweet by Mike Mitchell celebrating the fact that DC Defenders defensive tackle Elijah Qualls and Houston Roughnecks defensive tackle Walter Palmore had tried out for the Detroit Lions.
“The talent is real and more opportunities for talent to come. Wishing them best of luck,” Garcia tweeted, in recognition of the football talent prevalent in the XFL.

It seems like the plight of the journeyman football player wanting to step up and make it as a pro-footballer could become a central theme in Dany Garcia’s vision for an “expanded” 24/7 – 365 days of the year XFL.
Speaking for players, coaches and fans… just bring it.
The XFL or CFL should consider having a team on Long island. Connecticut fans could take the ferry to games.
As a Wildcat season tix holder I thank Mr. Johnson & his partners ! K. L. Collins
Should think about bringing the Birmingham Iron to the league
