Showboats Bobblehead Giveaway, Diaper Drive, Highlight Saturday’s Rivalry Game vs Stallions

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (April 30, 2024) — The Memphis Showboats have a big Saturday (May 4) in store at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The team will be giving away Showboats bobbleheads (while supplies last) to fans in attendance for this week’s rivalry game against the Birmingham Stallions. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT.

In addition to the bobblehead giveaway, with Mother’s Day on the horizon, the Showboats are teaming up with FedEx Cares to hold a diaper/baby formula drive to support the Mid-South Food Bank. All fans in attendance are encouraged to donate diapers, baby formula or adult incontinence products when they arrive at Saturday’s game. Mid-South Food Bank’s mission is to change lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South and to support the Bare Needs Diaper Bank, which raises awareness for the well-being of low-income families, women and children.

Donations will be accepted at Gates 1 and 2 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium prior to kickoff on Saturday.

Single-game tickets start at just $10 and can be purchased online at https://www.theufl.com/tickets. In addition, parking can also be purchased in advance at the park Mobile website: https://app.parkmobile.io/venues/simmons-bank-liberty-stadium/events/211231.

The Showboats-Stallions rivalry started in the 1980’s and continues today, as the two teams battled it out last season for a playoff spot. Memphis will be looking to avenge a Week 3 loss at Birmingham when they take the field this weekend.

Saturday’s game will feature fun for everyone, including:

  • Memphis Showboats bobblehead giveaway (while supplies last)
  • Diaper/formula drive to support the Mid-South Food Bank and Bare Needs Diaper Bank
  • A family fun zone in the concourse, featuring a prize wheel, fun games for the kids, face-painting, photo booth, and more
  • An opportunity for kids to run a 40-yard dash on the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium turf after the game
  • Single game tickets starting at just $10
  • Free roster sheets
  • $6 draft beers during the first 45 minutes after gates open
  • National TV telecasts on ESPN, ABC, FOX, and FS1, and a local radio broadcast live on News Talk 98.9, the Roar of Memphis
