MEMPHIS, Tenn. (April 2, 2024) – Fans are invited to meet the Memphis Showboats Friday to celebrate and get ready for the first home game of the season.
The Showboats will hold a pep rally from 4-5:30 p.m. Friday at Handy Park on Beale. Every member of the team and coaching staff will be in attendance. The Showboats’ mascot Skipper will be there, as will the Showboats cheerleaders.
This family-friendly event will include opportunities for photos, autographs and a chance to mingle with the Showboats. There will also be special giveaways throughout the event.
The Showboats open the home portion of their 2024 United Football League schedule at 11 a.m. Saturday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium, as they host the San Antonio Brahmas. Both Memphis and San Antonio won their season-openers, so both teams will be looking to remain undefeated.
