On August 21, 2023, the XFL announced two St. Louis Battlehawks players have signed with NFL teams.

Defensive back Elijah Hamilton has signed a contract with the Green Bay Packers. Hamilton played in nine games for the Battlehawks and made 13 total tackles, including two for a loss.

St. Louis Battlehawks running back Brian Hill has agreed to terms with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. The leading rusher for St. Louis, Hill appeared in eight games and carried the ball 88 times for 416 yards and touchdown. He also made 24 catches for an additional 204 yards and a touchdown.

Hamilton and Hill become the 13th and 14th Battlehawks to be signed by NFL teams.

These two signings make an overall total of 61 contracts now signed by XFL players this offseason. To date, nearly 200 invitations have been sent to XFL players for camps or to hold individual workouts with NFL teams since the conclusion of the XFL regular season.

The St. Louis Battlehawks retain the rights to Hamilton and Hill should either player return to the XFL.
