XFL Arlington Renegades DL Tomasi Laulile signs with the 49ers

On August 18, 2023, the XFL announced former Arlington defensive lineman Tomasi Laulile had signed with the San Francisco 49ers.

Laulile, a 2023 XFL Champion, was credited with 9 tackles in the nine regular season games he played with the Renegades. He is also credited with one interception which he returned 22 yards for a touchdown.

The former BYU defensive lineman had previous NFL camp experience with San Francisco, Indianapolis and New Orleans. He originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2018.

Laulile is the fifth Arlington player to sign an NFL contract. To date, 58 NFL contracts have been signed by XFL players since the offseason began on May 15. If Laulile returns to the XFL, he will resume with his former team.
