San Antonio Brahmas Week 7 Highlights, Recap, Photos and Postgame Press Conference

The Brahmas score 12 points in the final three minutes, including a game-winning field goal, to defeat the Houston Roughnecks

Ryan Santoso won the game for the Brahmas with a 51-yard field goal in the final seconds. Santoso finished the game with two field goals, with the game-winner setting a new game high for his longest kick of the season. On the season, Santoso is now 10-of-11 in field goals this season.

The Brahmas defense continue to wreak havoc on opposing offenses, adding 6 more sacks to their season total, which now moves them first in the league with 24. Six different Brahmas were in on the action: TavanteBeckett (1.5), Delontae Scott, Prince Emili, Wyatt Ray, Caeveon Patton and Jordan Mosley (0.5). The Brahmas also logged eight TFLs in their win against Houston. The Brahmas defense did not allow a touchdown in the victory.

Despite two red zone turnovers in the first quarter, and four turnovers overall, the Brahmas still found a way to win. The two lost fumbles by John Lovett and Marquez Stevenson are their firsts of the season. It is the second time this season the Brahmas have won with a negative turnover differential.

Entering Week 7 with two catches for 28 yards, Landen Akers was a key piece of the offense against Houston, racking up three catches for 72 yards in the first half. After being taken to the injury tent before halftime, Akers was ruled out for the game. A valiant effort from Akers, as he led the team in receiving yards.
