I totally agree with these Players of the Week. I have been a fan of Breeland Speaks since USFL Season 1. He seems to be getting better at maintaining discipline because he used to make a great play and then a careless penalty a play or two later. But Bryce Perkins was a lot of fun to watch in Week 9 (and before that). I must say that Adrian Martinez is my favorite QB and A.J. McCarron is fun to watch too. But Bryce Perkins burst on the scene and if the NFL does not take notice and sign him, I really want to see him as a starter in the UFL next season. I always worried about Michigan Panther QBs and their consistency (the Defense I have no worries about with Speaks, Ginda, and Nacua). But suddenly the Michigan Panthers had 3 able QBs who are all fighting for the starting job and I like what I see. For 2025, I like Bryce Perkins and Danny Etling as the main two, with Lewerke and E.J. Perry competing for QB backup positions on either Memphis or Houston. When the league expands in a few years, Lewerke and Perry can easily find a position on a roster.
