Welcome to our UFL Week 7 – Players of the Week – “Fan’s Choice” results. Voting began immediately at the completion of the final game on Sunday. We gathered over 1300 votes before the closing of polls at 5:00PM Eastern on Tuesday May 14, 2024. We thank all who voted!
Fans were asked to nominate any player they deemed worthy of the honor, in three categories: Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams. Winners below are based on the number of votes received for each player.
UFL Offensive Player of the Week:
#12 Luis Perez, Quarterback, Arlington Renegades
The Arlington Renegades put up a UFL-high 47 points to get its first win of the season with quarterback Luis Perez leading the charge throwing an amazing 27-of-32 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns.

Adrian Martinez, Quarterback, Birmingham Stallions
- Unstoppable with 60 yards rushing, overall top rusher in the league. With 21-of-33 pass attempts with three TDs. (Anonymous)

Matthew Colburn, Running Back, Michigan Panthers
- Matthew Colburn gave the Michigan Panthers a definite edge in their win over the D.C. Defenders. Colburn carried the ball 16 times for 137 yards, including a long run of 53 yards. (FJ)

UFL Defensive Player of the Week:
#51 Willie Harvey, Linebacker, St. Louis Battlehawks
St. Louis Battlehawks linebacker Willie Harvey had one of his best games against the Birmingham Stallions with 10 tackles (5 solo), 2 sacks, 2 tackles for a loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble.
The fans said:
- 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble against the best team in the league. (TS)

Honorable Mentions
Breeland Speaks, Defensive End, Michigan Panthers
- Made some amazing plays and a huge sack that ended Jordan Ta’amu’s day. (Jackson)
- You know you’re having a bad day when Breeland Speaks breaks through untouched and sacks you into oblivion. (Anonymous)
Tavante Beckett, Linebacker, San Antonio Brahmas
- Nine tackles, and 1.5 sacks in a Brahmas win. (Anonymous)
- Tavante Beckett did his best game holding the Houston Roughnecks to no gains. (Yearwood)
UFL Special Teams Player of the Week:
#39 J.J. Molson, Kicker, Houston Roughnecks
J.J. Molson kept his Houston Roughnecks in the game against the San Antonio Brahmas by kicking four field goals including an incredible 62-yarder.
The fans said:
- 4 field goals with one from 62 yards. Molson made it look normal to kick a 62 yarder. (Pinky)

Jake Bates, Kicker, Michigan Panthers
- Jake Bates is the best! Kicked 3 of 3 field goals on grass with the longest of 51. (Anonymous)
