Welcome to our UFL Week 6 – Players of the Week – “Fan’s Choice” results. Voting began immediately at the completion of the final game on Sunday. We gathered over 1500 votes before the closing of polls at 5:00PM Eastern on Tuesday May 7, 2024. We thank all who voted!
Fans were asked to nominate any player they deemed worthy of the honor, in three categories: Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams. Winners below are based on the number of votes received for each player.
UFL Offensive Player of the Week:
#9 Adrian Martinez, Quarterback, Birmingham Stallions
Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez was a fan nominated player of the week for the second time this season. Martinez had one of the best passing performances of the season, completing 23 of 36 passes for 368 yards and four touchdowns, while adding 25 rushing yards on five carries in the Stallions’ 39-21 victory over the Memphis Showboats.

Honorable Mentions
John Lovett, Running Back, San Antonio Brahmas
- Lovett carried 23 times for 153 yards in a league where running backs have not often done this. (Anonymous)
- Gave the Brahmas an unstoppable running attack. (Anonymous)
Hakeem Butler, Wide Receiver, St. Louis Battlehawks
- 6 catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns in a 22-8 win over the Roughnecks. (Anonymous)

UFL Defensive Player of the Week:
#15 Michael Joseph, Cornerback, D.C. Defenders
D.C. Defenders cornerback Michael Joseph was key to a defense that held the San Antonio Brahmas passing attack to only 79 yards. Joseph racked up 13 tackles, one pass breakup and one forced fumble in the Defenders’ win.

Honorable Mention
Kenny Robinson, Safety , Birmingham Stallions
- 4 total tackles, one interception and one pass breakup. (Anonymous)
- A big interception for the Stallions. Made it look routine. (Anonymous)
UFL Special Teams Player of the Week:
#38 Jake Bates, Kicker, Michigan Panthers
Jake Bates made five field goals on five attempts, including a 60-yarder. However, even more impressive was the walk-off, game-winning 42-yard field goal he kicked as time expired to get his Michigan Panthers the 28-27 win over the Arlington Renegades. This is the third time this season that fans have deemed Bates worthy of this honor.
