Final Score: San Antonio Brahmas 25, Arlington Renegades 15

The San Antonio Brahmas scored in three of the four quarters with an impressive rushing attack and recorded five TFLs in a stellar defensive performance to defeat the Arlington Renegades 25-15 Saturday night at Choctaw Stadium.

San Antonio’s ground game got going against Arlington, rushing for a season-high 190 yards. John Lovett had a career game with a season-high 95 yards and is the first Brahma to rush for two touchdowns in a game this season. Morgan Ellison tallied 84 yards on the ground and picked up the longest run of the season for San Antonio with a 47-yard run in the first quarter.

After missing the last two games, Delontae Scott picked up where he left off with three total tackles (2 solo), 0.5 sacks, one PBU and a TFL. Scott earned All-XFL honors in 2023 and made his presence known early with his only sack coming in the first quarter.

Already in the top seven in the UFL in total tackles, Tavante Beckett led the team in total and solo tackles against the Renegades with 14 (9 solo). Beckett also added a TFL and a forced fumble to continue his stellar season.

After recording 6 TFLs last week against the Michigan Panthers, the San Antonio defense recorded five more against Arlington. Beckett, Scott, Jordan Williams, BoPete Keyes and Zach McCloud each got one. Additionally, Jordan Mosely tallied a fumble recovery and A.J. Hendy blocked a field goal on special teams.
