Battlehawks to open against conference rival for second consecutive season
St. Louis, Mo., April 5, 2024 – Professional football returns to the Gateway City on Saturday, April 6 as the St. Louis Battlehawks (0-1) will host the Arlington Renegades (0-1) to begin the home portion of their 2024 United Football League (UFL) schedule. The two teams met in the St. Louis home opener last year, with the Battlehawks winning 24-11 in front of a record crowd of 38,310 fans.

St. Louis Battlehawks Home Opener Pregame Schedule
- 3pm Official Tailgate Party begins in Baer Park
–There will be BBQ, beverages, music, face painting, and fun as vendors provide all of the tailgating essentials to get fans primed for the big game. Located just across Broadway from the Dome at America’s Center. - 4:10pm Battlehawk Walk in Baer Park
–Welcome the St. Louis Battlehawks as the team bus arrives and the players make their way through the high-five tunnel from the crowd and into the Dome at America’s Center - 4:30pm Media entrance opens
- 5:30pm Gates open to the public
-St. Louis Area Food Banks will have volunteers with collection bins set up outside of Entries C&D for fans to drop off food donations PRIOR to entering Dome until the end of the 1st quarter. - 6:30pm Official Tailgate Party ends in Baer Park
- 6:53pm Introduction of St. Louis Battlehawks and Arlington Renegades players
- 6:55pm Presentation of the colors: Washington University Gateway Battalion Army ROTC
- 6:56pm National Anthem: Randy Mayfield
- 6:59pm Game Ball Presentation: Dany Garcia, co-owner UFL
