Arlington, TX – With the United Football League announced the schedule for its inaugural season today, the Arlington Renegades are confirmed to be slated to be the first game to kickoff the season, hosting the 2023 USFL Champions Birmingham Stallions at 12:00 PM CT/1:00 PM ET.
“I am excited about the upcoming season and the chance to compete in our inaugural campaign, starting with a formidable opponent – the 2023 USFL Champions, the Birmingham Stallions,” said Head Coach Bob Stoops.” This opening matchup promises an exciting start to the season, and we’re fully prepared to face the challenge head-on.”
The first Renegades game will be broadcast on FOX. Other games will be broadcast on ABC, FOX, ESPN, FS1 and ESPN2. Games on ESPN and ABC will be streamed on ESPN+ and FOX games will stream on the FOX Sports App. All games will be streamed via TV Everywhere.

The League is divided into two conferences: USFL (Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers) and XFL (Arlington Renegades, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, St. Louis Battlehawks). Each team will play six in-conference games and four inter-conference matchups. The Conference Championships will pit the top two teams with the best records in their respective conferences against each other.
