XFL Battlehawks DB Nate Meadors

ARLINGTON, TEXAS – The XFL announced that St. Louis Battlehawks defensive back Nate Meadors has signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League.

Meadors is the tenth player from the St. Louis roster to be signed and his NFL contract is the 49th signed by XFL players since this offseason began on May 15.

In nine games with the Battlehawks, Meadors led the defensive backs with 38 total tackles, including his game-high of 11 in Week 7 at Houston which was the most in a single game by any Battlehawks player all season.

To date, 167 invitations have been sent to XFL players for camps or to hold individual workouts with NFL teams since the conclusion of the XFL regular season.

The St. Louis Battlehawks will retain Meadors’ rights should he return to the XFL.
