Will the XFL play in eight markets but practice in Arlington?

According to Randy Karraker of the “Karraker and Smallmon” show on 101ESPN St. Louis, the XFL plans to play their games in each team’s cities, but practice and live in Arlington, Texas.

Not quite a hub-city concept, such as the USFL, but a central hub for all other logistical activities.

As well as this exciting tidbit of information, Karraker also dished on the following details:

  • Cities, teams, and logos are coming June 1.
  • The “BattleHawks” will be part of the new XFL.
  • Becht is the favorite to coach St Louis. Haslett is destined for Seattle.
  • Cities that will be named are Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Seattle, Vegas, DC, St. Louis, Orlando.

Karraker’s co-host Michelle Smallmon reacted negatively to players living in Arlington, saying it matters to have the players living in the city.

We earlier reported on Randy Karraker’s tweet that St. Louis would get their XFL team back.
