As announced by the UFL on Monday, the San Antonio Brahmas placed both placekicker Donald De La Haye Jr. (Deestroying), and Center Alex Mollette on the injured reserve list.
Mollette only played in ten snaps in the Brahmas week two game against the Showboats, suffering what appeared to be a lower leg injury.
Mollette was a key to the Brahmas offensive line, and their starting center since the beginning of the season. Joining the Brahmas through the dispersal process, his most notable play was in week one of the UFL season when punter Brad Wing faked a punt and passed to Mollette who rumbled into the end zone for a touchdown.

Donald De La Haye was most famous for his YouTube channel and “Project NFL,” which was the nickname for De La Haye’s efforts to get on an NFL roster. His injury was most likely due to a a bold tackle he made on Trey Williams in their game against the Showboats.
#BREAKING it seems likely that Donald De La Haye (@Deestroying) was hurt on this play.
He tweeted "I need to learn how to tackle" and was placed on IR. Brutal for the young kicker taking huge steps in his dream of kicking in the NFL. #UFL pic.twitter.com/Xrs8zTLgpP

On Tuesday April 9, 2024, De La Haye posted on Instagram and explained he had fractured his neck in a “couple places.”
De La Haye wrote, “Thank y’all for all the good wishes. Turns out on that tackle, due to bad form, I fractured my neck in a couple places. Although this sucks, I’m grateful cause it could have been allll bad. Kids, please learn how to tackle with proper form. Thank you Brahmas and UFL for giving me this opportunity, it has been a blast. And thank all y’all for supporting me on this journey. Imma sit my ass down now and focus on healing up. Love y’all.”
De La Haye has a big leg, but it looks like we will have to wait a while before we see him in action again.
