The UFL has announced that Birmingham Stallions defensive end Dondrea Tillman has signed a contract with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. Tillman becomes the eleventh UFL player to sign a contract with an NFL team this offseason.
Drafted in 2022 to the Stallions, Tillman returned for his second season under head coach Skip Holtz, starting in all 10 regular season games, leading the team in sacks with four on the season (22 sack yards), good for T-10th in the league.
In the postseason, Tillman continued to be a strong defensive force, recording seven total tackles, four occurring in the USFL Conference Championship game against Michigan. Against the Brahmas during the UFL Championship game, he recorded three tackles and one pass deflection to help the Stallions win their third straight championship.
The Birmingham Stallions will retain Tillman’s rights should he return to the UFL.
