In the 2023 USFL season, White recorded 29 carries for 128 yards, two touchdowns, and caught 10 receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown.
“We need to come out and make sure we’re firing from week one,” Willekes said.
“What we’re seeing now is people are calling us, and agents that we had to reach out to and call are now calling us to get the players back in.”
A few days into the 2024 free agency period, several former XFL players have received new contracts with their former teams.
