Like laxtreme mentioned in another thread, I’m not confident based off of some reaction I’ve seen. Especially with the De’Veon Smith debacle that isn’t working in the USFL’s favor. The Friday night game should be an interesting test on ratings.
Be positive... ! its was a strong weekend! all the pizza story is giving the league attention they didn't have.

And make that Pizza to go...
Definitely not trying to be negative just realistic. What game/ time slot do you think has a chance at hitting 3 mil? Just asking, I’m not trying to be sarcastic.

None based on the last 2 bigger spring leagues. Fox noon should do OK with Pitt/Philly but it is at noon. If the weather sucks in PA ratings will be better. NBC NOLA v TB 3pm likely #2 for being on Broadcast. Hopefully not much sport competition.
I'm more curious about the Friday night Mich/NJ game on USA & Houston/Birm on FS1 Saturday.

ABC has a playoff doubleheader Sunday. Being the USFL has already gone head to head with one and overlapped with another and still came out strong I'd be encouraged to run it back with a pair of 1-0 teams this time.

Mich/NJ is part of that loaded Friday I talked about a few weeks back (featuring another ABC game). There was at least one ad for it on RAW that I saw. Certainly the Panthers being a hit on TV in Detroit helps, hopefully the redzone implosion hasn't chased anyone off.

Throw in the NASCAR race at Talladega (one of their more popular tracks) on Sunday afternoon.

According to the article below the Monday night game averaged 268,000 viewers. Not sure we can take anything from that given the circumstances.

268,000?

Oh, God. That's really bad. UFL bad.

I mean, I get the issue being that there was a postponement, but that number sounds like it's close to baseline for FS1 for a non-sports night. TSL brought in 400k a night on off-nights. That's below MLS, even.

I shudder to think what the ratings for tonight's USA game will be.

Well you got Roman on FOX and Demar/Giannis on ABC, not really doing a hell of a lot so far to draw from either. At least the Tigers got rained out so Miggy for 3000 will go into tomorrow (meaning the Panthers should keep some of their locals)

I will say the quality of commercial sponsors between the USFL and XFL is night and day. XFL had Geico, progressive, and Bud light. In this USFL game I've seen edible arrangements multiple times and a shady time share commercial. Maybe those $40k 30 second spots scared advertisers away
