Couple changes just today as Igwebuike was signed to Atlanta's active roster from the practice squad, and the Vikings released WR Lucky Jackson from the practice squad.

One of the fill-in hosts on the X-Fan Show last week (he filled in for Arlington Lane) was upset at so many XFL players on NFL practice squads and said that they would never get a chance to play and that infuriated him. I don't think he's aware of the new Practice Squad rules.

Of all the XFL players on practice squads, LB DeMarquis Gates with the Bears is the only one to be elevated for this week's games.

Reid Sinnett was re-signed to the Bengals PS and will in all likelihood back up Jake Browning Monday night.

Matthew Gotel could also earn an elevation should Jarran Reed not be able to go.

The only XFL 2023 player in the NFL may already be on thin ice: P Dan Whelan had three touchbacks in the first two weeks, and then a short punt resulted in a PR TD for the Saints today.

Eh if Riley Dixon survived Brock Miller then DW should be fine, besides Matt LaFleur's up enough of a creek without calling attention to a fourth down misfire which the Pack completely weren't ready for. Given that the Saints' two TDs are on the PR and a short field it's not unreasonable to assume that flipped the game from the beginning, the two times they started inside their own 20 went 6/7-punt then FG--so it could very well be a 3-3 game instead of 17-0 just from that.

Of course we'll see if LaFleur ends up joining the Dabo Swinney "Well it was my fault too but not really" academy, in which case that actually would be bad news for Dan.
