The TV markets were done for TV money. It's as simple as that. Without the TV money, the league can't survive.
Oliver Luck might be Vince McMahon's greatest hire. Oliver Luck has future NFL commissioner written all over him. He has the perfect resume to run a league.
The extra year to sell tickets, shape the teams is what is helping the XFL this time around. That and Vince McMahon being 100 percent owner. He won't have to worry about his 50-50 partner backing out and leaving him holding the ball again.
