The XFL will be making a public announcement in New York on Wednesday December 5th at 1pm eastern. This is where the XFL’s 8 cities will be revealed.
The bidding cities have not been informed if they’ve been selected. The league doesn’t want the information to leak out before the public announcement.
New York and Houston figure to be a part of the 8 city rollout. From what I have been told St. Louis is one of the bidders in the running. Whether or not they have been selected for the first year launch isn’t presently known.
XFL commissioner Oliver Luck will be the featured guest at Sports Business Radio in New York on December 13th. That interview will be in front of a live audience. Not only will the 8 cities be discussed but the league is expected to announce their tv and streaming rights packages. The early word is that The XFL is in talks with Fox and NBC to air games on broadcast and cable television. A Saturday/Sunday package similar to the original XFL is in the works.

ST. LOUIS - 5 On Your Side Sports Director Frank Cusumano has learned St. Louis will indeed be home to a team in the second incarnation of the XFL starting in 2020.
The league played one season back in 2001 and was known for its intense style, colorful personalities and big time backer Vince McMahon.
5 On Your Side has confirmed the new St. Louis XFL team will play 10 games in its inaugural 2020 season. Five of those will be played at the Dome at America's Center.

Hmmm... The Dome @ America's Center is a pretty big venue with a capacity of over 60k, that may be too big...
Ready for the team reveals...again

The goal is probably to average 30 to 40k for 5 home games. The home opener should do well. The key is going to be coach and QB.
The XFL May need to pull an MLS move and tarp off sections of the dome like in the end zones. Reduce seating to create illusion of a packed house.

The XFL is coming to the bay area in February 2020, the Tampa Bay Times has learned.
The league, backed by World Wrestling Entertainment chairman Vince McMahon, isn't scheduled to make an official announcement until Wednesday, but phone numbers for each of the eight host cities temporarily appeared on XFL.com on Friday.
When the Times called the number for the Tampa Bay team, a league executive said the following in a recorded message:
"Hello, this XFL commissioner Oliver Luck. Thanks for calling XFL Tampa Bay. We're excited to call Raymond James Stadium home when the league launches in 2020, and we appreciate your support."
Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, St. Louis, Seattle and Washington also appeared on the website. Team nicknames, logos and uniforms have not been revealed.
