Dragons has the potential for best logo and uniform imo.
Sea Dragons
Emerald Dragons don't work for me becuz it's too long to enunciate.
Force
Wild
Surge
These could be used for any team in any sport. So I don't like them.
Seattle Dragons seems best coming off the tongue to me.
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being BEST and 1 being PLEASE SHOOT ME. I'd give it a 5.
It’s funny. Greg Parks posted on Twitter that he liked all the names but didn’t like the way, Seattle Dragons sounds. These things are very subjective.

On a number scale of 1-10. I’g go;

Surge- 7
Dragons- 7
Force- 5
Fury- 5
Wild- 4

Looks like Seattle Surge was an early hopeful for the NHL team...with mostly empty facebook and twitter pages.

It's gettin' hot in here...and we about to burn 'em up!

Looks like the 2020 XFL champion may be 2-3 seconds short of playing a full season :?

You'd be doing the league a favor. I'm in for $5.

Yeah, Dragons isn't my favorite. Just don't feel like it rolls off the tongue. I kinda like Fury and Wild. But I'm willing to take the "L" on this if it's Dragons if many others like it. At this point, I'd rather have the majority like one of the names even if I don't, since opinions on team names tend to be very strong (and usually very negative).

Usually very negative is spot on. I am in the camp that branding, logos and colors can enhance a name. It’s all subjective. There’s always an argument to be made for or against any particular team name. Since most names illicit mixed opinions.

That’s always a possibility. What’s unique about the filing, is that it’s from nearly two weeks ago. It’s not rare for leagues or franchises to trademark multiple names. It’s rare for the trademark filing, to take two weeks to be posted.
I'm kinda hoping for "non of the above" and wouldn't be surprised either. The names seem very generic. Maybe (no trademark expertise) they were released to the public early because they have been ruled out and/or to create some buzz.
That’s what i’m thinking, Vince has spent decades as a promoter and storyteller. What’s better in wrestling than a good heel turn or plot twist? He gives people a bunch of Luke warm names and the does the surprise reveal. I’m not saying that will happen, but like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised.

In today's digital 5G world ,with so many important pieces of info being leaked,I can see this as disinformation. It's possible. But I think Seattle is tricky because of the NHL buzz and ideas for hockey team names.

Wild is a hockey name in Minnesota right?
Surge
Fury I suppose with great logo and uniform designs could be ok. I guess I like Dragons best simply becuz it's not as common.

I wouldn't rule that out... but it seems that a lot of things we would think Vince would do with a league like this, he hasn't really done. Vince hasn't really had a hand in a lot of decisions so far; he's let Luck handle things, and as someone noted before, a lot of these follow the NFL Europe "singular team name" template (even borrowing the Surge name from the old Sacramento team).
