Breaking: The Indianapolis Colts have officially signed WR D.J. Montgomery to their 53 man roster, the team announced today.

Montgomery spent time in the #USFL this year with the @USFLPanthers.

Montgomery caught a TD and was 2/48 in the game against Pitt today

With the Colts suspending Isaiah McKenzie today (although I would assume he's back for the playoffs if they make it) he's now up to WR4, and with Pittman in concussion protocol he could be in line to start.

With the Colts suspending Isaiah McKenzie today (although I would assume he's back for the playoffs if they make it) he's now up to WR4, and with Pittman in concussion protocol he could be in line to start.

Given Michael Pittman's concussion protocol and Isaiah McKenzie's suspension, the Colts may find that McKenzie's eventual return towards the end of the season is essential. With the championship on the line, McKenzie might play a big part in the offense if Pittman is out, giving the receiver corps the much-needed depth.
