Sunday’s Birmingham-San Antonio UFL Championship Game averaged a 0.8 rating and 1.60 million viewers on FOX, marking the most-watched spring football championship game since the 2001 XFL “Million Dollar Game” on NBC (2.91M). Viewership increased 38% from last year’s USFL title game on NBC (Pittsburgh-Birmingham: 1.16M) and 11% from last year’s XFL Championship on ABC (Arlington-DC: 1.44M).
The only other spring football title game over that span was the inaugural 2022 USFL Championship on FOX (Birmingham-Philadelphia: 1.52M). <<

While it wasn't outdoor spring football, it also outdrew all 4 years of the AFL on NBC and their 2 ABC ArenaBowl broadcasts in 07 and 08. The highest of that group came in 2003 with 1.35M viewers
