Houston vs. Memphis to be for #1 draft pick

Interesting that they're referring to the "2025 UFL Draft." Does that mean the draft won't be held until 2025 or that it's a draft FOR the 2025 season?

The USFL did something similar think it was in the 2022 season.

It's the draft for the 2025 season. That has been standard nomenclature since 2000.
