Saturday, May 18 4:00 PM Memphis Showboats Michigan Panthers FOX
Hoping for the best crowd of the season in Detroit. Can they break 10k? I'd love to think so but think they finish just under.
9655, Michigan, 815k
8:00 PM Houston Roughnecks Birmingham Stallions ESPN2
A blowout should be expected. Might Corral get some snaps in at some point? Probably in my opinion.
9101, Birmingham, 427k
Sunday, May 19 12:00 PM D.C. Defenders St. Louis Battlehawks ABC
DC might have a shot here. I hope so, if not weeks 9-10 become glorified preseason games.
32,150, DC, 1.05M
4:00 PM Arlington Renegades San Antonio Brahmas FOX
Arlington looked great last week, San Antonio not so much.
12,125, Arlington, 777k

Home team rules all, SA in the league's first OT
The rest of the season's TV numbers (won't be strong as the first six) will be a test pilot for the TV strategy next year and how much regionalization should be in play.
And, I've seen a lot of consternation, putting it mildly, everywhere from Reddit to YouTube to even here. Under NO circumstances should the league ever consider doing something totally lame like CUSA did in basketball a few years ago where they scrapped the last two weeks of the season and essentially had another tournament--which resulted in them going from a one-bid league to a.............one-bid league (and Old Dominion was one-and-done anyway). You want a legit league? This isn't even a consideration. If ratings fall to 600K for the last few weeks while people wait for the final four, that's what it is. Plus you want to see every stadium outside of STL fall to Vegas/Memphis/Houston-level attendance? Do that.
