On that note, and a bit off-topic here, but the NCAA tournament, at least the men's side, has been having an MLB-like slide in their ratings for the last 20 years or so. Even throughout the 90s they were getting in the 20s (mil), now the only time they're getting anything approaching that is when it's big boys, and moving the Final Four to Turner every other year hasn't helped.
So it's a good counterprogramming move, just would have rather not burned week 1 on Easter and had that 1.5M for STL (the league's first prime time offering) instead, you might still drop to 800K or so for Birmingham but you're in a better position to keep a larger audience.
