I don't envy the oddsmakers trying to handicap spring football. I remember 2020, it turned out to be all over the place, to an extent the same for 2023. (I don't recall the USFL making any real fuss about it the way the XFL did.) So many of the betting predictions turned out to be flat wrong.

Now we have a league that has some history and continuity but half the teams have never played the other half. So they're still stabbing in the dark.
