There's been a trend in the NFL teams recently of adding "Passing Game Coordinator" and "Running Game Coordinator" or "Passing Game Analyst" or "Running Game Analyst" to their staffs on both sides of the ball. Maybe one day, UFL teams will have those titles along with "Assistant Head Coach" and "Senior Offensive/Defensive Assistant." It would give more coaches jobs.
Someday, the UFL will have a plethora of coaching titles.

The pro game is too complex and competitive. That’s why I imagine they need so many coaches.
The UFL and its coaches are still wondering if they’re college level staffs yet, so…

Let's worry about financial solvency first.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were fewer coaches on staff this year than even the XFL had last year. Hopefully it’s a “one step back to take two steps forward” approach. But yeah, if the league approaches the number of assistants the NFL has (or just takes away the seasonal pay aspect of it), then that’s a pretty good sign of success for the UFL.
