XFL Insider Podcast with Mike Mitchell and Pat Rifino

This is a special episode that pretty much covers everything we know about the merger so far. While I hate speculation, this show has MM talk about his inside sources and mentions there should be an announcement next week. Pat Rifino has passionate responses to fan feedback. Both are great guests.

Matthew Tyler puts on a good show. He is personable and sincere. Although his shows are a little long I find they are worth it.

XFLBoard has been supporting his shows all along because there is value in the honest presentation. It’s good for the league. Go ahead and give the show a like and follow. FYI, they will be rebranding soon, and are planning to cover all alternative football.

I listened to most skipping here and there and missed that "should be an announcement next week." Let's hope so. The CFB bowl season starts 12/16 and there's still 5 weeks left in NFL regular season +playoffs to get the word out to FB fans.
The shows are definitely too long and there's too much focus this time on player/staff cuts which was inevitable/obvious and not the focus for fans. But they are good.

Did MM say Rice stadium was OUT for Houston?

Did MM say Ricw stadium was OUT for Houston? A poster on "The Comeback Period" podcast said MM stated that ( i di not hear it as I did not listen to the entire cast)

If so... That could explain the Canton and/or other push still moving forward.

Didn't doubt it.. like posted above "If so... That could explain the Canton and/or other push still moving forward."

I think Houston is out and Canton (low cost, right sized, and USFL for balance and geography is in).

I'd like to see Houston and NJ back in 2025... for TV size... if they can add any.

According to MM on the podcast, don't look too deep into these signings. These players are signing with the league first, as there's no real owners of the individual teams. He believes players being signed are being told they'll be part of the inevitable dispersal draft.

Yes we all know the contracts are with the league (its a single entity) but its still signing a contract and that means they will either: Play on that team, Released as with other excess players, or part of dispersal draft and then either cut or play. Either way the assumption would be likely not playing and cut, as will half the players.
Or the final teams havent been fully decided.
