After all, poor Denverites who thought they were getting Russell Wilson are now stuck with a glorified Zach (there was actually a movement to flex out 10/8 Cowboys/Niners for Jets/Broncos on SNF, um yeah.................), so clearly they could use a little HBO there. Plus at the moment you just hired Anthony Blevins to do nothing, so just move the Vipers over there--or at least back to Tampa.
Um... The VIPERS are GONE
Yes I'm aware that the Vipers won't be back in Vegas, but you don't just hire a coach for a team and then two months later dissolve said team. You want to see a relationship crumble--whatever degree it is? Start by hiring a coach off a staff in July and then in September say "oops we've got nothing for you". To say nothing of the WTF move already.

In the meantime did you see where your idol took another shot (SUXFL), yet you've insisted for almost two years now he'll be great pub?
Really? Those firing happen all the time. Its called business.

MF he's your boy not mine, I just had said that the PFT website was a big FB Fan destination and posting USFL would be a positive due to site traffic. He certainly did more for XFL than USFL but that's MFer.

But since the website redo I haven't been to the site - it sux now and that seems to be common among PFT users.

Fox doesn't have much in terms of winter sports—NHL and NBA are with other networks, but they do have much more in the spring. So that tells me this will likely inherit the XFL schedule, filling key prime time winter time slots.

Even if the strike is resolved soon, it will take months to catch up production of most scripted programming.
Unless Fox decides to expand it's MLB schedule.
Well one they kind of did that already by adding back Saturday afternoon games in April (that they pushed to FS1 in the last contract). Two if it ends up being something like Monday Night Baseball that ABC did in the 70s and 80s, a lot of teams had travel days so for years ABC didn't have the best schedules--also they didn't begin until Memorial Day by the end of the deal. FOX also did a Thursday night last week and will again this week. I can't imagine either did/will do too great.

They'll probably stay put.

USFL still only has 3 real teams. XFL has 7.

I think you'll get a split like this.

Houston combines into one team with either name. The usfl hub system morphs into the Arlington system.

For TV they'll need Philly or New Jersey or both.

East (hub in Canton)
Ohio (plays in Canton)
Michigan (plays in Detroit)
New Jersey (plays at MetLife)
DC (plays in DC)

Central (hub in Birmingham)
Birmingham
Memphis (plays in Memphis)
St. Louis (plays in STL)
Seattle (plays in Seattle)

South (hub in Arlington)
Arlington (plays in Arlington)
San Antonio (plays in Alamo dome)
Houston (plays at Rice this year)
New Orleans (plays at Tulane)

Houston Roughlers? Gambnecks? Hey combo names are fun!

I thought about that the other day when the Sea Jersey GenHawks ruined Detroit's opener--again.

Some key questions I'm looking forward to seeing answered, if/when this gets officially rolled out:

-Composition of teams from league perspective - what teams stay, what teams go, how many in total
-What months does the league year run? Do they go with the XFL or USFL sked, or a mix?
-Hub status - both leagues have hubs, but in different ways. How does that all shake out?

Logistically, there are tons of hurdles to this even with three months of talks already (we were told that XFL stadiums already had date holds, what will player contracts look like, USFL player's union involvement, the list goes on) for this to take effect in 2024. "Ambitious" doesn't begin to describe what they're going for here.

Whilst not my personal preference I could definitely see something along these lines also.

I am not expecting all of the USFL teams to be a part of this league.

Also, all of the USFL teams have mascots and I think the ones with actual home stadiums have cheerleaders and the XFL has none of that. So would it be that the USFL teams that remain will have mascots and cheerleaders while none of the XFL teams have them? Or will they get rid of them?
