June Jones will not return as Seattle OC

Long story short, Jones wanted the Vegas HC position but when passed over, desired to retire back to Hawaii. He apparently recommended former Hawaii QB and HC Nick Rolovich for the OC job in Seattle. I think that'd be a good get.

I'd expect coaching staffs to be finalized here soon. The 2023 team staffs were announced on Sept. 13th of last year.

Rolo? Um, read the room JJ. The guy sued both the state and Wazzu, now he's gonna have a job in that state? It's like that little intervention never happened, sheesh.

I get going to bat for your guy, but at some point.......................Besides, isn't he supposed to be coaching in that ZZ Top (Tejas) league anyway--or is that another Joe McClendon special?

Big loss for XFL... perhaps if USFL has HC opening he'll show up there...

Um, boy...................and this comes the week Wazzu returns to the top 25 to boot.

Rolo, the only Cougar HC that never coached in an Apple Cup. Hell if Jimmy Lake wasn't already McVay's asst HC I could easily see Haslett going for broke and completing the "Do you really f##king hate us 2021?" HC/OC/DC trio.

So he's working back in the state he sued for wrongful termination. Would the state of Washington be able to block such a hire?

Might, then again considering Lumen Field was a mass vax site in 2021 maybe they see fit to let him "suffer" through it

Rolovich's hire was confirmed last night by HC Jim Haslett in an online meet & greet with fans.

I won't comment on his vaccination beliefs, as that is probably moot as far as the XFL is concerned and there is no need to hash it out here. To say the least, Rolovich is a colorful character. Hopefully he brings this element to the XFL.
