Half-hour spent with Giglio at the start of the show. Not a ton of new stuff (though he does comment a bit on the USFL), but noted upcoming drafts for the XFL in October and December. I'm sure those are tentative dates right now, but it is interesting that they've moved the January supplemental draft to December. Given that USFL contracts expire 12/31, they seemingly wouldn't be able to draft players on expiring contracts like they did this past year, which made up a large portion of that Jan. draft.

A different way to draft this year, when last year they had to fill all rosters from scratch.

The XFL needs to always have better players than the USFL. That is their goal. Not that I dislike the USFL. Just saying they compete with each other over players.
