CBSSN didn't get a sudden uptick in viewers the year they had Ohio State playing Navy in Baltimore, even with Lundquist/Danielson on the game (while CBS aired their final US Open), so good luck getting it here. I can just see the promotion of the Labour Day classic when CBS has the PGA playoffs (which for the first time will be in full) in August. Or maybe he thinks, with the likelihood of FOX, ABC, and NBC all having games on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend that CBS will pick up Winnipeg/Saskatchewan on 9/3. Hey, he apparently gets to do everything else around here so he can dream too
Reply to me if you're going to talk about me instead of being a gossiping little school girl.

Of course CBSSN didn't get amore viewers for the Ohio State and Navy game because the Buckeyes were playing scrubs like Navy. Everybody was going to know th results of that game.

If there are scheduling conflicts, CBS will move those CFL games to Paramount+. Need I remind you that Paramount+ has more subscribers than ESPN+.

This isn't a dream on my part, it's reality going forward
The point wasn't Ohio State beating Navy/how many would watch that game genius, the point was the biggest name college team on CBSSN to date and doing nothing for it going forward (in fact had this been a year later it would have been on CBS main after the US Open moved to ESPN). Of course being that CBSSN hardly shares any properties with its parent network--like FS1 with FOX, don't be mad when this ends up being by design.

CBCSSN didn't bring awareness to that Ohio/Navy game was because it was Navy that was the opponent. People thought it was the reboot, McHale's Navy and immediately thought of that Hollywood bomb starring everybody's butt of a joke, Tom Arnold. LOL!

I believe those CFL games on CBSSN will be simulcast on Paramount+. Which is huge because Paramount+ has more subscribers than ESPN+. Streaming is the future, and the CFL has embraced the concept and will do so on the next TV deal that comes up in 2026 with TSN

One more time, I'm not talking about the game itself I'm talking about Ohio State being on and what it's done for CBSSN since then--hint nothing, of course being they don't have any P5 rights it's to be expected but not even the few times they do they don't get anything above an AA meeting.

So by going right into the simulcast you're acknowledging CBSSN has nothing ratings-wise. Of course going by the trash that you emit about the XFL/USFL on a near-daily basis you sort of have to.

Don't make fun of AA. Alcoholism is a disease and that organization helps recovering alcololics.

It was the one game you brought up. I'm only going by what you brought up as a example.

It's standard business practice that CBC simulcasts live sport events on Paramount. CBS does it for other sports, they will do it for the CFL.

BTW, I prefer the USFL over the XFL. The USFL plays close to traditional four down football. It's the XFL that is trash. The poor ratings and attendance figures proves it

St. Louis drew more than any CFL team last year and the ratings are similar, if not better tham the USFL, while being On lesser networks. I hope you have the same respect for the IFL and AFL if/when they return next year. They’ll all be sharing time on the prestigious CBSSN…unless they get preempted by the WNBA or NWSL of course

St Louis' attendance is a spite towards the NFL and Stan Kroneke. Kind of like the Baltimore Stallions were in the CFL during the 90's. They never totally sold out the dome, just the lower bowl. Still saw a lot of empty seats in the upper bowls in a Twitter post. The attendance would drop off over a matter of time if the XFL lasts more then 3 years. If the CFL put a team in St Louis, they would also have tremendous gate attendance there too. St Louis would show up for a pick up game in a parking lot just to spite the NFL and Kroneke. You can't build a football franchise out of spite

Those ratings haven't broken a million threshold since it's opening day. The XFL ratings show that it is not capturing new and casual viewers to it's league. The ratings are way down from it's 2020 year. It's the die-hard fans that have romanticism notions that are tuning in.

That's a big "IF" on Indoor Football. The Albany Empire are close to being folded and it's most successful franchise. Former NFLer, Antonio Brown is a supposed owner and he's walking away from the team because he's stiffing players on their salaries. Some of those Empire guys are signing on with CFL teams already. The AFL ain't returning next year. Nothing but hot air coming from that league.

Geez, you haven't been paying attention to what Paulo has posted on CFL Forums. That dude knows what's he talking about. he stated that CBS will simulcast CFL games on Paramount+ like it does with all it sports properties. And I agree with him.

The CFL got a million dollars for their product while they received little for it from ESPN. Time to make some money instead of giving it away for naught. There is still more to come from the sale of of the second package of CFL games. Give Genius Sports time to broker a deal

The Albany Empire play in the NAL, not the IFL, which will be in CBSSN later this summer. DC had an NFL team and sold out its last 2 games, so it's not just St. Louis leading the way. The XFL also broke 1 million viewers 3 more times on ABC after week 1 and likely a few more times once the ESPN+ viewers are counted. The USFL hasn't hit a million once this year. That's 4 strikes, you're out

Here's another: he claims he was kicked off CFL forums, yet he's dropping some dude from the same like that's it, settled

Although it's more entertainment than a fifth strike

i live here, and i know multiple season ticket holders

i can confidently say that "spite" has nothing to do with the ticket buying fans here ( of any sport )

unless you think that "Kroenke spite" also causes sell outs at soccer, hockey and baseball games
