Re: USFL Transactions
The Maulers releasing De’Veon Smith is quite a surprise. I don’t know if he underperformed in practice or exactly what the issue was but I would think he is talented enough to be in the league somewhere.

Yeah, it is a bit surprising, played in TSL too though not in 2021. He last played in the fall of 2020.

AI.com: Gamblers sign Auburn DB
https://www.al.com/sports/2022/04/usfl- ... -back.html
>> Because each team drafted 45 players, there wouldn’t seem to be much need for transactions yet, but there have been a few, including on Thursday when the Houston Gamblers released draft choice Howard Wilson and signed former Auburn defensive back Ryan White.
The Gamblers are White’s latest foray into spring football. The cornerback played eight games for the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football in 2019 and five games for the St. Louis BattleHawks of the XFL in 2020 before those leagues ended their seasons prematurely. <<

Re: USFL Transactions - NJ releases Weber
Could this be tracks-covering (though I'd prefer another term) for UBF, since he/Williams/Vito were all featured in that one segment? I'm assuming it's going to be edited out of the re-air now that he's not on the team anymore.4th&long wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:18 am https://usflnewshub.com/usfl-news/usfl- ... comment-48

It's not aging well, two days of pub over Smith is not worth a year of 'oh look the real XFL is back!'

Not sure I understand what the XFL or the De'Veon Smith situation have to do with this.MGB01 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:35 amCould this be tracks-covering (though I'd prefer another term) for UBF, since he/Williams/Vito were all featured in that one segment? A UBF reference, and since Weber supposedly has a knee injury, yet because of the Ben Holmes saga we can't even verify that, the charges of XFL1.0 being back are sure to come.SamTheRam28 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 2:47 pmNot sure I understand what the XFL or the De'Veon Smith situation have to do with this.MGB01 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 11:35 amCould this be tracks-covering (though I'd prefer another term) for UBF, since he/Williams/Vito were all featured in that one segment?
