Surely they have not budgeted for much gate revenue with this hub model. I expect ratings in the next few weeks are much more important. Merchandise? I wonder how that is going.

Oh absolutely. This hub model is mainly focused on ratings. It would have been nice to see more people for non Stallion games for tv optics but yeah I would think this would be somewhat expected. I was hoping to see a lot of people rocking Stallions merch last night but I didn’t notice much.

Here's what I'd do for Friday. Any fan that shows up before kickoff gets a free hat of their choice -- either Panthers or Generals. And then if you leave after the game ends and you're wearing the hat of the winning team, you get free tickets to that team's next game.
