I would imagine he'll at least see some playing time.

I think he’s a safe option at qb, at worst he’s solid and at best he’s really good. Where their other qb, deandre Johnson is way more athletically gifted but needs some development with accuracy. I’m rooting to see Perez, I was a fan of him with the guardians

I agree, which is why him not being drafted (in the USFL) never made any sense to me.
