USFL combine March 19-20

According to Adam schefter there’ll be a USFL combine March 19-20. Any guesses as to what this means? My best guess is a 3rd draft for late signings but I’m honestly confused

Apparently after the initial draft or right before it the number of potential players interested in the USFL shot up. With the 2nd draft schedule for 3/10 to fill out the final 3 spots on active (initial) active roster and 7 practice squad positions, they felt there now enough to have 3rd look at players - now the free agent tryout on 3-19/20

Looks like Schefter was wrong. Perhaps he got the date mixed up on the supplemental draft and that's what he was reporting.

I think they were attending a tryout combine instead of hosting it that’ll happen mid season
