I am saying is that after signing Jalen Morton as a possible Practice squad guy, the next time the Colts are in the QB market will be for someone who's actually played an NFL game. Scott had a tryout but so did Morton. Apparently the Colts preferred Morton over Scott.4th&long wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 1:57 amNot sure what you are saying here but even if Scott makes it into camp, better yet getting a P-Squad spot its a selling point.GDAWG wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 1:21 amThe Colts signed former Prairie View A&M QB Jalen Morton. While they are probably not done adding more Quarterbacks, it will either be a high draft pick or one of the many veterans out there via trade or free agency.4th&long wrote: ↑Mon Feb 01, 2021 11:47 pm >> Mike Mitchell Retweeted

Colts are working out former Spring League Most Valuable Player quarterback Bryan Scott today, according to a league source. Set records at Occidental College, has previously tried out for Rams, Chiefs and Falcons

If Scott got a job it would be (another) a big selling point for TSL. An a good lead off into 2021 spring season... IF they have one.
The TSL has had many of its former players getting signed in the CFL or getting NFL work outs recently. It adds to TSL credibility and selling point to potential future players. As far as their plans for 2021 who knows, hopefully they have something in the works with FS1.
The Colts made an attempt at trying to acquire Matthew Stafford but he went to the LA Rams. They are not going to acquire Deshaun Watson because the Texans won't trade him (despite him wanting out) and if they do, it's not going to be in their own division. Based on the hiring of Nick Siranni, it doesn't look like the Eagles want to trade Carson Wentz. They could make a play for Sam Darnold but he could be swapped out for Watson. The free agency crop isn't great and I think the Colts are hoping that the relationship between Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are strained to the point of no return so that they can sign him to a multiple year contract, something the Cowboys should have done already. After him, there's Jacoby Brissett (who probably won't return to the Colts), Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andy Dalton, Cam Newton, Mitchell Trubisky, Jameis Winston and Alex Smith.
As for the Colts draft, they pick at #21. They could take Mac Jones or Kyle Trask.
