So after week 3 the AAF is averaging 17.6k a game, a downturn of about 2k:

Edit: Also next week the home teams are:

Arizona (11k last time)
Memphis (11k)
Birmingham (17k)
Salt Lake (10k)

So expect next week to be a really rough one for attendance...

Well, that was the reported attendance, which definitely doesn't necessarily equal how many fans were at the game. They reported 20K last week, which was later revealed to be "tickets distributed." Who knows if the league is consistently using "tickets distributed" as their attendance or if they're massaging these numbers (or not) on an individual basis.

A big question for me is if Dundon is being given complete attendance information. Is he being told the real number of fans in building vs. tickets sold vs. tickets distributed?

You'd think Dundon would know if he was being mislead. If he notices the AAF on a downward trend, he can go away any time he wants.

From Darren Rovell:
JUST IN: Charlie Ebersol and the new football league, the AAF, have been sued by Robert Vanech, who said it was his idea to come up with league and was entitled to 50% ownership.

Vanech says agreement with Ebersol was ignored, seeks $$ and wants his name part of its history
In lawsuit against AAF and Charlie Ebersol, Robert Vanech -- who believed he had a "handshake agreement with Ebersol" said much of what he founded about the league was later credited to partner Bill Polian
Exhibit in lawsuit shows that AAF originally planned to use XFL name & purchase assets from WWE & NBC for $50M.

AAF met with Vince McMahon and he decided to start league on his own.

Crazy stuff.

It’s no secret that Vince McMahon never wanted to fold the original XFL. His 50-50 partner bailed.

It’s also no secret that Vince McMahon wanted to try to start a football league again. That’s in his conversation with Dick Ebersol in the 30 for 30 special.

Vince McMahon even trademarked football league names like The United Football League and UrFL back in 2017.

I'm not sure how this "handshake agreement" will hold up in court, but this could kill AAF before it gets off the ground if Vanech wins this case.

Good @TheAAF news from the weekend - ratings for Saturday night game up 15 percent. Not surprised. Fun watching Steve Spurrier and @aafAPOLLOS edge @aafexpress despite valiant comeback effort by Zach Mettenberger.

I don't think Vanech will win IMO. Not enough ground to stand on from what was in the report. Obviously there's probably more to the story than what we know right now.

I'm about halfway through reading this lawsuit against Ebersol and...

This sounds super legit. Vanech has a ton of texts and emails between him and Ebersol that clearly show Ebersol referring to them as partners in this. Vanech has a real case here and AAF could be in trouble.

Are you talking about this 92 page pleading?
Edit: Looked through this, and you're right. Vanech has some legs to stand on...
