Vince McMahon Had His Quarterly WWE Conference Call Yesterday, Here's What He Said About The XFL:

Vince was asked once again during the conference call if his role with WWE will change due to the XFL, and according to PWInsider he said that there will be no changes in what he does day to day and he reiterated that there will be a separate team running the XFL.

He also noted that the initial $100 million he’s putting into the league won’t be enough to fund it, but he didn’t comment beyond that.

I see Vince is continuing with this hands-off plan. I guess the next important step will be for Vince to name his XFL team.

Also, more than 100-million? I believe this means McMahon is looking for investors.

Just discovered the forum through XFL Twitter. Awesome to see everyone is so hyped for 2020! The amount of XFL podcasts springing up is also very cool to see. The more the merrier we say! Our show is going to drop every Sunday morning. We plan on chronicling the road to 2020, discussing what "football re-imagined" really could be, and looking back at the history of the league as well. We will also have guests from former players/coaches, the media, and maybe even the community here as well!

Our first episode was on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. This week we will discuss those incredible Twitter videos, cities already posturing for the XFL, and Tim Tebow! Check it out on our site:

Johnny football would be a good acquisition for the XFL. Maybe we’ll see him in a the CFL this year, prior to his XFL career.

This week on our show we will be looking deeper into what came up last week and that is names like Tebow and Manziel being available should they be interested. The big question is "who should be the face of the league?" What player(s) should the XFL build around? Should they feature any single players? XFL 1.0 did not really hype up Tommy Maddox or John Avery did they? Will that change?
