Seattle Team Names?

Sonics (Probably reserved for when the NBA returns to Seattle)

Emeralds-Seattle is the Emerald City, so I think this name is a very solid one too.

I love "Krakens" but it might be used by the new NHL team.

Orcas is looking more and more like it will end up being the Seattle team name. On the XFL subreddit, one user stated that the NHL had trademarked Krakens and Emeralds, but not Orcas and Metalheads. Also there have been rumors around about the XFL trademarking those two names. Then again I don't think it would be infringement if the NHL and XFL teams had the same name, but I don't think the XFL would make that move... All this to say I think Orcas will end up being the choice. On a scale of 1-10 I'd give Orcas an 8. Not amazing, but a very good name. Andibald, as an XFL Seattle fan what do you think about the name?

The Seattle MLR rugby team uses a killer whale for their logo already. They also play late winter/spring.

Ah, knowing McMahon wanting to be original Orcas is off the table I guess. Steelheads I guess is the frontrunner

Seattle Emerald Flyers (or Steelheads or Emerald Kings). I borrowed the totem design and added the "Seattle Sports Colors" bringing back the original Seahawk color scheme.
