Breaking: LA Wildcats Fire Defensive Coordinator Pepper Johnson

Break news in the league, the LA Wildcats have fired DC/LB coach Pepper Johnson just 1 week into the season according to league source Konnor Fulk. Speculating at this point is there is something more than bad performance leading to Johnson's dismissal. Unsure how, but presumably there is a link between his firing and Wildcats LB Anthony Johnson being released today. Johnson was a captain week 1 for LA.

48 hour rule in effect -- thinking there's gotta be something more to story. We'll see how it unfolds
