Brahmas trade QB Dormady to Memphis

Traded for LB Jordan Ferguson, who led Memphis in sacks last year. It's the first move of the Whisenhunt/Monos era in Memphis, adding a much-needed starting-caliber QB. Yet they trade their top sack artist from '24 from an already bad defense. The rich get richer in San Antonio adding yet another pass-rusher, dealing from a position of strength with Mond and Kevin Hogan signed for 2025.

Wow interesting trade.  win-win IMO.  Memphis needs a starting caliper QB.  SA appears to have excess there.  SA helps Def.

As bad as the def was in 2024,  Memphis needs to work on the Oline.  Running the ball and QB protection are vital, and keeps the Def off the field.

I take that as a sign Case Cookus probably isn't coming back. After the beating he took last year, I don't blame him.

That and Jason Bean isn't giving up his Colts PS gig to come and get hit/sacked/run 30 times a game either.
