Definitely gonna be interesting. Especially since the UFLPA president came out against, seemingly, the UFPA in so many words once the USW departed (read the last paragraph on my story on UFLBoard.com for the quote). I'm just not sure there were a lot of other options out there for the UFLPA.

Which brings up an interesting point—the UFL operates on seasonal contracts, right? The vast majority of players who will be in the UFL come March 2025 are not under contract right now. So the UFPA basically swooped in and got its ratification at a time when the player pool was artificially small. That has all of the indications of trying to avoid any wide-scale opposition and slide the vote in unnoticed. Contrast that to the XFL players ratification vote, which was announced beforehand —and was voted down. We had no warning of the UFPA filing with the NLRB before the vote this time.
I see plenty of grounds to get this overturned.
