2025 season set to kick off next spring with addition of Friday night games on FOX.

ARLINGTON, Texas (September 17, 2024) – The United Football League (UFL) today announced its return date for the 2025 season. The UFL Kickoff Weekend begins March 28.The league’s 2025 season will kick off on a new night, adding Friday night football to its spring schedule. Media partners ESPN, ABC and FOX will once again air all UFL games.

“Adding Friday nights to our spring football schedule speaks to how strong our league has become,” said President and CEO Russ Brandon. “Our teams have been working diligently this offseason to prepare for 2025 and look forward to bringing that work to life and sharing it with our fans in season two.”

The 2025 UFL season will consist of a 10-week regular-season schedule followed by Conference Championship games and the UFL Championship on Saturday, June 14th.  In addition, next season’s schedule will feature ten Friday night games broadcast on FOX.

Current Showboats season ticket members will receive step-by-step instructions on how to choose their new seats for the 2025 season, along with a timeline of when they will enjoy an exclusive selection window.

Seat selection will be virtual and will be on a tiered basis, starting on Wednesday, September 18. Fans who place a deposit for tickets prior to the public on sale date will have an exclusive window to select seats before tickets go on sale to the general public.

Good news. UFL getting dates set, and selling season tickets far more in advance than what they managed to do last season..

I believe in the UFL league release, it mentioned that season ticket sales will be available to the general public next month, which is, as Mark mentioned, much better timing. Hopefully they get the schedule out and individual game tickets in a reasonable amount of time, too. 

Starting off on a Friday is probably a nice move as well. Will get a lot of people who became accustomed to hunkering down for college football and basketball on those nights. Kickoff weekend also basically the same weekend as last year, so no change to the schedule in that regard as some may have hoped.

Glad they gave a date and I think its the best one they can do.

Fox and ESPN have CBB until March Madness and the need arises after CBB, esp for FOX to fill slots.

But we still need a full wk by wk time and date schedule.

Also I wish the season ticket $ were discounted vs single game.
