No player can sign until after the championship game is over.
BUT non-playoff team players can try out once THEIR season is over. - 4 teams after June 2nd.

I have to assume that the UFL and NFL have some sort of gentlemen's agreement after how they let McCarron rejoin the Battlehawks.
