He did balk at the estimated figure of tens of millions, though—and said he wouldn't be playing there this year. (Which, yeah, I get it... it's midseason and we all remember what happened to Kurt Benkert.)

I would like to see retired NFL players, with all those millions earned, invest in the UFL and give their less fortunate teammates a chance, but unfortunately, the world doesn't work like that.
