UFL Week 2 - Predictions (w/l, viewers, attendance)

Post by 4th&long »

Here's my picks... tougher than last week...

Saturday, April 6
12:00 PM    San Antonio Brahmas    Memphis Showboats (ESPN): Memphis,  800k, 9300
8:00 PM    Arlington Renegades    St. Louis Battlehawks (ABC): St Louis, 1100k, 37000 (edit Friday PM)

Sunday, April 7
12:00 PM    Birmingham Stallions    Michigan Panthers (ESPN): Mich, 775k, 9000
4:00 PM    Houston Roughnecks    D.C. Defenders (FOX): Houston, 750k, 13500

Going upset Sunday... if Houston doesn't have Foster that could move it to DC, A MIch defense that can test Birm

Ratings:

Memphis v. San Antonio 880k

Battlehawks v. Renegades 1.2M

Panthers v. Stallions 850k

D.C v. Houston 1.0M

The ESPN games are pretty much interchangeable. I am hoping the Fox game on Sunday will hit a mil cause it’s at a good time slot, same as ABC game on Saturday.

Attendance:

Memphis v. San Antonio 11k

Battlehawks v. Renegades 35k

Panthers v. Stallions 13k

D.C v. Houston 15k

Im a optimistic for attendance, but I think Memphis has the biggest possibility to disappoint here, especially looking at ticket master

Mike Mitchell says the trend is going towards beating the 38,000 that StL recorded last year for attendance.

Coffee,
I like those BOLD Broadcast #'s - could depend on WCBB matchup and CBB saturday night.  Fox did have a week 2 game in 2022 get over a million so tme will tell.

I will say the Fox match up has two Top Ten TV markets going for it.

Thx for the MM update, I upped my prediction to 37k after bumping to 35k this AM! :ugeek:

Also Mich seems to be picking up sales for the $25/$20 sections
